School Observations

Classroom observations can serve as a standalone service or occur in conjunction with an evaluation. The length and scope of an observation can be individualized based on the specific needs of the student.

Families may choose to seek an observation to help answer the following questions:

  • What is the quality of my child’s instruction?

  • How is my child responding to instruction?

  • Is this instruction effective for my child?

  • Is my child connecting well with other students?

  • Is a change in classroom or school placement needed for my child?

  • Is my child now ready to be more independent in the classroom?
